My all-time favorite movie is American Beauty. My all-time favorite book is Catcher In The Rye, which I’ve loved since I was in a angsty teenager.

 

If you had a super power, what would it be?

I would want to be able to teleport so that I could travel the world within seconds and I could be home when I want to be within seconds.

 

When you have 30 minutes of free-time, how do you pass the time?

If I had 30 minutes of free time, I would cuddle with my dogs, Prudence, and Harrison, and my kitty cat, Eleanor. All of my pet names have a connection to The Beatles

 

If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to?

Veronica. I fell in love with the name Veronica as a youngster when I watched the movie Heathers and thought that Winona Ryder was the list! Still love the name!

 

If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet?

Brené Brown. As a social worker myself, Brené Brown is the gold standard in modern social work research with her groundbreaking studies on shame, vulnerability and change. Brené Brown has also figured out a way to take her social work, work and practice and not be broke…with her books, speaking tours, podcasts, research studies and teaching on the doctorate level.

 

If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?

I would quit my job and travel the world for a few years…I’d see it all!!

 

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

I would love to be able to play the drums. I played for a little bit when a friend taught me many many years ago, but I never really got past the basics.

 

What is your favorite form of exercise?

My favorite form of exercising is rollerskating. I used to play for the Dutchland Derby, Rollers, and rollerskating is a great full-body workout!

 

What is your favorite candy bar?

My favorite candies tend to be gummy candies and Sour Patch Kids are top-tier in my book!

 

Which celebrity do you get mistaken for?

I’ve been told that I look like a younger Rosie O’Donnell or Ally Sheedy.

I am a huge Martin Scorsese fan and The Departed is one of my favorite movies…definitely top-five along with Goodfellas. There’s so much swearing in The Departed that this question makes me laugh!
